1. Loads must be level and safe. No overloaded containers.
2. CUSTOMER(S) must obtain necessary permits, barricades, or other equipment if a container is to be placed on any public property, streets, or alleys.
3. CUSTOMER(S) will not hold A-1 Containers liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. floods, road closures, ice, tornado, snow, etc.)
4. CUSTOMER(S) accepts liability for all damage to pavement, driving surfaces, container placement areas, lawns, or any other area utilized by A-1 Containers.
5. All homeowners or landlord/property owners must be present for signature or email permission, and pre-mark and send pictures for correct placement of containers. Once placed, there is a $25.00 – $50.00 relocation charge.
6. CUSTOMER(S) accept(s) full responsibility for equipment and custody of containers against and all claims resulting in use.
7. DO NOT load with air conditioners, paint, drums, solvents, liquids of any type, wet cement, or toxic and hazardous waste as defined by local, state, or federal regulations. Please call for additional cost and placement in containers for the following, including tires, batteries, and appliances containing freon.
8. DO NOT force back door closed. Complete loading only after the back door has been closed and locked manually.
9. DO NOT park vehicles or objects in front of containers, which will restrict the pickup of containers. PRIOR arrangements must be made before loading containers with heavy construction material, concrete, blocks, dirt, bricks and/or gravel so the legal weight limits are not exceeded.
10. Please direct communication to office, NOT DRIVERS.
11. You must call the office during business hours to request pickup. Please allow one to seven business days for pickup. We have over 300 boxes and you can pay extra for same-day or emergency pickup.
